Welcome to St. Andrew's!
No matter where you’ve been or what you believe, you are welcome here. Our church meets every Sunday in the Sanctuary and online. We use engaging music (both traditional and contemporary) and relevant, scripture-based messages to help people have a real relationship with Jesus.
We hope you feel right at home.
OUR BELIEFS
As a United Methodist Church we believe that God is a God of grace. God's grace is evident in the Bible, throughout the history of God's people, in the experience of Christian community, and the way we seek to live out our faith as members of The United Methodist Church. We believe that all people are persons of sacred worth and we embrace Jesus' call to love God and love our neighbor. We believe that the mark of all followers of Jesus Christ is the love we have for each other. There is not greater expression of that love than helping someone else experience the love of God personally.
MISSION & VISION
Reach. Create. Serve.
Our mission is to lead people to know God and experience His grace through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our vision is to reach people where they are, create safe spaces for community, and serve others as followers of Jesus.
WORSHIP SERVICES
Sunday Services: 8:15 + 9:45* + 11:15* a.m.
[*streaming available]
We offer two styles of worship services. Our Traditional services feature organ and piano music, robed clergy, acolytes, traditional hymns, chancel and handbell choirs, and orchestra. Our Contemporary service features a more informal worship style and a praise band that plays contemporary praise songs.
COMMUNION
Communion is a holy meal of bread and wine that symbolizes the body and blood of Christ. We have an open table for Communion welcoming all who love Christ, repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another. Communion helps us to remember the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and celebrates the unity of all the members of God's family. By sharing this meal, we give thanks for Christ's sacrifice and are nourished and empowered to go into the world in mission and ministry. We serve Communion on the first Sunday of every month in our Traditional services (8:15 + 11:15 a.m.) and every Sunday in our Contemporary service (9:45 a.m.). We serve Communion in various ways including intinction, passed at the rail, and prepackaged cups.
BAPTISM
Baptism is one of the two sacraments we celebrate in The United Methodist Church. Through baptism we are joined with the church and with Christians everywhere. We believe that baptism is a symbol of new life and a sign of God's love and forgiveness of our sins, and that people of any age can be baptized. We baptize by sprinkling, immersion or pouring. A person receives the sacrament of baptism only once in his or her life.
